Description:
Type RAA IECEx-ATEX approved nickel plated brass cable-hose fittings are designed for use with Anaconda Sealtite liquid tight conduits to connect and protect a single braided cable in a potentially explosive atmosphere. A special designed connection set enables the fitting to be used also with the Anaconda Multiflex range of uncovered conduits. Typical applications include connections on motors, transformers, control equipment, Ex enclosures, terminal boxes and components in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, food, pharma, wood processing and bulk handling industries. Also available in a version for amoured cable type RAA (see pages 7 -27 till 7 – 28). In case a 45° or 90° solution is needed it is possible to use the IECEx-ATEX Anaconda adapter type BAC in combination with a normal 45° or 90° Anaconda nickel plated brass fitting.
Construction:
Nickel plated brass fitting, consisting of 7 parts (counter nut, clamping ring, ferrule, intermediate housing, double pressure ring, sealing rubber, container and body).
Material:
Counter nut, intermediate housing, pressure ring and body are nickel plated brass, sealing rubber is from EPDM, clamping ring is from PA6. Fittings are fully RoHS compliant.
