Description:
Type AS is a robust conduit with a galvanised steel core and a thick, smooth anti-static PVC cover for use in hazardous areas where a risk of explosion exists. The conduit cover provides a surface resistance of <109 Ohm according to Standard NEN-EN-IEC 600079-0, Section 26-13 thus preventing electrostatic charge from accumulating on the surface of the conduit cover and also sparks in the case of discharge by contact.
